PEERS for Success: Dating North Lakes, Social Development, Career Guidance, and Life Skills

Embark on a journey of self-discovery with PEERS for Success Clubs. Our programs foster relationships, build social skills, provide career guidance, and promote physical fitness. Led by experienced occupational therapists and neurological physiotherapists, we offer tailored support for teens and adults.

PEERS for Adolescents (Ages 13-17)

A 14-session UCLA-based program designed to improve social skills and confidence, with optional sessions on dating.

PEERS for Young Adults (Ages 18-35+)

A 16-session UCLA-based program to enhance social and professional skills, including optional dating dynamics.

PEERS for Dating North Lakes (Ages 13-35+)

A 5-session course focused on healthy dating behaviours and managing dating challenges.

Walk/Jog/Gym Club

A fitness-focused club helping participants build social and emotional skills through guided activities.

Level Up Lab

In the Level Up Lab, teens and adults engage in self-directed activities such as robotics, coding, and nerf battles. These activities help build social and executive functioning skills, with real-time guidance from therapists. Virtual Reality (VR) is used at the end of each session as a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) strategy to reward progress.

LifeHacks Pro

A program teaching essential life skills like budgeting, daily living and driving preparation.

PEERS for Careers

Offering career guidance, job preparation, and collaboration with disability employment providers.

Gottman Method for Relationships

Deepening relationships through evidence-based techniques in communication and connection.

 

Please be aware, the driving readiness skills in Lifehacks Pro is not an Occupational Therapy Driving Assessment and Rehabilitation Program. It is an off-road therapy program that uses the context of preparing for driving lessons to facilitate progress towards meaningful and functional therapy goals.
