How does this differ to other parenting programs?
Succeed has compiled a range of parting tools from evidence based parenting principles for aspiring/current parents. Preventative attendance is highly recommended (ie before problems develop) where possible.
What skills are covered?
The skills covered in the 5 x 1 hour session program include:
- Eat, play sleep cycle for newborns
- Toilet training for toddlers
- Discipline strategies for 2-14 year olds
- Five steps for being your child/teens emotion coach
- Accumulating shared positive experiences.
*Private hourly individual rate is $195 for therapist, or $90 for allied health assistant (plus $9 per session for case consultations with therapist). NDIS hourly individual rate is $193.99 for therapist, or $86.79 for therapy assistant (plus about $13 per session for case consultations with therapist). Approximate cost for the group Program of Support by therapist is $170 per hour, or by therapy assistant is $79 per hour (including case consultations with therapists) covering the complete therapy experience tailored to your young persons' needs (break down of fee schedule to be provided upon enquiry). Additional costs may apply for some activities and food (uncommon to occur).
