Going Wild for Success Club (outdoor therapy)

Many carers are concerned that their young person spends too much time indoors on a device. Or they are worried that their energy is not a good fit for learning in a classroom environment. Young people need the space to experience the calming benefits that nature provides, whilst socialising with others, igniting creativity and learning to take calculated risks that enhance development. Succeed seeks to capitalise on the inherent motivation that nature provides, to facilitate the development of school and handwriting skills.

Why do therapy outdoors?

Young people are spending more time indoors. The rates of loneliness, stress, mental illness, and physical deconditioning are on the increase.

Being in nature has so many benefits. At Succeed Healthcare Solutions, we skilfully use the natural environment to create learning opportunities for young people, whilst they foster relationships.

Daytime and night-time experiences allow young people to ‘go wild’ with their imagination. At the same time they can develop their independence, physical, sensory, cognitive and social skills.
