It’s a perfect complement to our school holiday intensives, allowing you to address any needs that pop up during the term without the need for in-term therapy appointments. Based on UCLA’s acclaimed curriculum, PEERS for Preschoolers is a 16-week, parent-assisted social skills program designed to help young children build friendships and confidently navigate peer interactions. Children learn essential social skills through engaging puppet shows, interactive games, and structured activities in a fun and supportive environment.
Parents attend separate sessions to gain practical strategies for reinforcing social skills at home, with real-time coaching and feedback from therapists
The Thera-Cademy is a school holiday intensive program that provides a full term’s worth of therapy in convenient, one-hour daily sessions. Designed for busy families, Thera-Cademy uses academic content as a “tool of the trade” to layer therapy strategies onto term-specific learning concepts, giving children a proactive start for the term ahead. Alongside skill-building activities, parents and teachers receive practical strategies to reinforce progress, creating a supportive foundation for learning and growth.

The Thera-Toy Library provides access to therapeutic toys and tools designed to build essential skills through purposeful play. Each visit includes a consultation with a therapist who will recommend toys and assistive technology based on individual goals, ensuring playtime contributes to meaningful progress.

The Little Scholars Thera-Playgroup, held for an hour every fortnight, engages young children in play-based activities led by experienced therapists and allied health assistants. Through structured social play, children build essential skills and gain confidence, setting them up for a strong start to Term 1.

Hope is a driven and enthusiastic Psychology student with a passion for helping others. With hands-on experience working in allied healthcare, Hope brings a caring and encouraging approach to her work. She is dedicated to empowering individuals, especially neurodiverse clients, and believes in the power of positive independence.
Nathan is passionate about helping young people achieve their goals and develop skills through therapy services, including technology-based activities like our VR and robotics programs. As someone with special needs, Nathan understands the journey that young people with special needs experience. He’s currently studying a double degree in Bachelor of Engineering and Science at the University of Queensland and loves applying his knowledge to enhance our therapy services.
Genevieve Lopez is an experienced Executive Assistant with a background in Client Administration and virtual assistance. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication, she has honed her skills in managing administrative tasks, client communication, coordinating meetings, and maintaining Learning Management Systems. Chelsea is a second-year Occupational Therapy student at The University of Queensland. Melissa is a dedicated Allied Health Assistant and Nutritionist with a passion for women’s health, especially in the area of menopause. She has experience working in paediatrics and as a Play Therapy Assistant, where she loved building connections with children and their families. Melissa’s ability to quickly read people and her empathetic nature make her a valuable team member. Her lived experience adds a personal touch of empathy and understanding to her professional role.
Leanne is an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) with a passion to help young people be their best selves and live their best lives. She has a rare skill set in that she is highly experienced in occupational/vocational rehabilitation, paediatrics, telehealth and in-clinic services. She also works as a Practical Demonstrator at Bond University, teaching the Masters of OT students the ‘work’ (injury prevention/occupational rehabilitation) subject. She enjoys delivering both manualised evidence-based programs, as well as designing programs based on the evidence that cater to young people’s interests and needs.
