    Meet Evie!

    Allied Health Assistant

    Evie is a third-year Speech Pathology student with a passion for helping people effectively communicate by exploring different types and styles of communication. She has experience working holistically with children and their families to prevent communication breakdowns and assist people in finding their voice. Evie enjoys working collaboratively with other Allied Health Professionals to optimise a client’s communication and participation across all areas of life. She endeavours to be a calming influence and to create a comfortable and fun environment for people to thrive in.

    1. Loves doing Aerial (Silks and Lyra) and Aerial yoga.
    2. Enjoys Stand Up Paddle Boarding and going to the beach.
    3. Loves all things arts and craft and exploring new ideas.

    Meet Charlotte!

    Allied Health Assistant

    Charlotte is a 3rd Year Occupational Therapy student who enjoys assisting young people and their families to develop and learn new skills in a range of daily activities. Striving to connect with the people she works with, Charlotte aims to understand each person’s unique set of strengths and skills, and how these can help a person reach their full potential. Charlotte values the power of a “listening ear” and endeavours to provide this to both the children and families she works with.

    1. Charlotte loves going on adventures and exploring the crazy sites and activities the world has to offer
    2. Charlotte loves spending time with furry friends as well as people
    3. Charlotte’s favourite animal is a panda

    Meet Amber!

    Junior Allied Health Assistant

    Amber has a strong affinity with animals which is obvious during her interactions with her Smart Pup Assistance Dog Pizzazz. Amber is keen to use the power of animals to help the lives of other young people and see the changes taking place. She finds working with animals and young people a fun combination.

    1. Amber has been horse riding since she was 5 years old and currently enjoys show jumping and dressage.
    2. Amber is passionate about drawing and craft, especially horses.
    3. Amber wants to be a You Tuber about her favourite computer game Star Stable.

    Meet Emily!

    Allied Health Assistant

    Emily is a final year Occupational Therapy student with a passion for meeting the needs of children, young adults and their families. Emily strives to focus on people’s strengths, creating a holistic view and understanding of a person, to promote overall wellbeing. Emily has experience with facilitating and adapting group programs to find the ‘best fit’ to suit the needs of a person. Emily also endeavours to work collaboratively with young people and their families, by actively listening to their story to enable independence and growth.

    1. Loves planning and organising travel to different destinations and learning about various cultures
    2. Really enjoys being outdoors and going for camping adventures
    3. Favourite season is winter as Emily loves to rug up and read a book

    Meet Dani!

    Exercise Physiologist

    Dani is passionate about delivering family-centred care and developing goals collaboratively with children and their families. She will work with you to assist your child to reach their unique potential and participate with their peers. Dani is a strong believer and promoter of inclusion in sport and believes that sport can be a powerful tool for social, emotional and physical development.

    Fun facts about Dani!
    1. Growing up Dani was a lover of all things sport and you will still find her on a netball court or football field to this day.
    2. Dani enjoys spending her weekends by the beach with family and friends
    3. Dani loves travelling and exploring new places and countries.

    Meet Sandra!

    Nutritionist/Allied Health Assistant

    Sandra is a qualified nutritionist who enjoys providing coaching and support to help people to achieve health and happiness in life. She believes that healthy nutrition and exercise are the keys to good health. Sandra enjoys spending time outside bushwalking, horse riding, photography, travel, learning new languages and going to food festivals. She is also a certified PADI diver and has been scuba diving with sharks!

    Physiotherapist/Allied Health Manager

    Kristi is an experienced Physiotherapist who thrives on helping children and their families find their path to being the best they can be. Through her diverse skill set and her unique lens, she is dedicated to supporting neurodiverse individuals on their journey to becoming their best selves. Kristi is passionate about mentoring and assisting teammates to achieve their full potential and gets great enjoyment out of being a part of her teams’ growth and accomplishments.

    1. Enjoys hiking, going to the beach and going on outdoor adventures with her family
    2. Loves reading, travelling and tending to her roses
    3. Has enjoyed playing soccer from an early age and whatever sport her son is currently into

    Meet Leanne!

    Occupational Therapist/Managing Director

    Leanne is an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) with a passion to help young people be their best selves and live their best lives. She has a rare skill set in that she is highly experienced in occupational/vocational rehabilitation, paediatrics, telehealth and in-clinic services. She also works as a Practical Demonstrator at Bond University, teaching the Masters of OT students the ‘work’ (injury prevention/occupational rehabilitation) subject. She enjoys delivering both manualised evidence-based programs, as well as designing programs based on the evidence that cater to young people’s interests and needs.

    1. Enjoys doing stints on TV!
    2. Enjoys competitive and recreational ocean swimming and triathlons, as well as outdoor adventure activities
    3. Loves gardening and travelling

    Meet Nathan!

    Junior Allied Health Assistant

    Nathan wants to inspire young people to achieve their goals and build skills in target areas through the provision of therapy services including sport-related activities. He understands the journey that young people with special needs are on, as he also has special needs.

    Fun facts about Nathan!
    1. Nathan enjoys computer games, speed-cubing, maths/science, casual sport, adventure sports like rock climbing, and going on thrill seeker rides at theme parks
    2. Nathan has a cat and an assistance dog for his sister
    3. Nathan won Child Genius Australia on SBS in 2018 and used that platform to communicate the message about the importance of friends above all else

    Meet Bridie!

    Allied Health Assistant

    Bridie loves working with children and their families, and supporting them to reach their full potential. Bridie values the importance of having a shared vision between parents, teachers, and children so that we can create goals that are achievable and important. Bridie has a passion for family centred therapy and is dedicated to enduring sessions are fun and engaging, while challenging young people to meet their goals. Bridie has a special interest in helping children and young people manage their sensory issues and the expectations in different environments.
